ARPA Well Grant Program available to Town of Aurora Home Owners
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Well Grant Program is providing funding up to $16,000 to eligible well and water system owners to replace, reconstruct, treat, or abandon their wells or water systems. Click HERE for more details.
2024 Tax Assessment Roll is Open for Examination and Open Book
The tax assessment roll for the Year 2024 will be open for examination starting on the 3rd day of April, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Aurora Town Hall, W2319 State Road 21, Berlin, WI. Please call the Town Clerk at (920) 229-5583 to make an appointment.
Additionally, the assessor, Action Appraisers & Consultants, Inc., shall be available via telephone (920) 766-7323 during normal business hours Monday through Friday for "Open Book" to specifically address the concerns of Town of Aurora taxpayers.
Instructional material will be provided by the Clerk to persons who wish to object to valuations.

If a property owner is not satisfied with the assessment of their property after attending Open Book, or did not have an opportunity to speak with the assessor during Open Book, the property owner can bring his/her appeal to the Board of Review. The Board of Review schedules and hears assessment appeals, when property owners are required to provide evidence proving the assessment is incorrect. After review, if the Board agrees with the property owner's evidence, it can change the assessment.
